I arrive on the 19th. Just going to walk around the hotel, get to know the area. The "HUGE" room I have reserved, has a kitchenette so I'll get a few groceries from the Tesco that is across the street. Tesco is the company that brought us Fresh and Easy...just an FYI.
The DaVinci collection is at The National Gallery. I can't find tickets available for the time I'm going to be there, but I'll try to get a ticket from ticket booth on Sunday.
The other thing I want to get a ticket for on the day of... War Horse
And, of course, the hop on/off tour. A great way to see the city and get around.
I have a friend who lives there, whom I call The Dr. after Dr. Who. He is going to "kidnap" me and show me the real England...I think. I don't know what is on his agenda. It's all a surprise. I do know that he asked me if I was ready to hold $650,000.00. I guess we'll be robbing a bank. Should be interesting.
